'Beyond the Hype' will be held at Royal Roads University.
Royal Roads University is in Colwood, a 25 minute drive from downtown Victoria.

Please note: cell phone and Blackberry reception is not guaranteed.
You can really step away from the office for a day.

DIRECTIONS

From Downtown Victoria:

• head north on Highway 1 (Douglas Street);

• follow Highway 1 to Exit 10 (View Royal, Colwood);

• take Exit 10 to Highway 1A (Island Highway);

• follow Island Highway through five sets of traffic lights to the Goldstream Avenue intersection - at this point Island Highway becomes Sooke Road;

• after fifth traffic light move into left hand lane;

• at next traffic light turn left into the University campus.

From the BC Ferry Terminal (Swartz Bay)
or Victoria International Airport:

• head south on Highway 17 (Pat Bay Highway) for approximately 20 minutes;

• take the Mackenzie Avenue exit and turn right onto Mackenzie;

• follow McKenzie Avenue to Highway 1;

• turn right onto Highway 1 North;

• follow Highway 1 to Exit 10 (View Royal, Colwood);

• take Exit 10 to Highway 1A (Island Highway);

• follow Island Highway through five sets of traffic lights to the Goldstream Avenue intersection - at this point Island Highway becomes Sooke Road; 

• after fifth traffic light move into left hand lane;

• at next light turn left into the University campus.

From Northern Vancouver Island
or BC Ferry Terminal (Departure Bay):

• head south on Highway 1 (from Nanaimo approximately 1.5 hours);

• After Spencer Road traffic lights (at Payless Gas), take Exit 14 toward Langford/Sooke/BC-14/Colwood;

• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Langford and merge onto Millstream Rd S
  Continue to follow Millstream Rd S (becomes Veterans Memorial Parkway);

• Turn left at Goldstream Ave;

• Continue straight to stay on Goldstream Ave (past golf course on right);

• Turn right at Sooke Rd. – Royal Roads will be on your left in about 0.5km

PARKING

A parking pass is required whenever parked on campus.
